Two games in one box

Auction

The main event. Everyone starts with $3 in Cookie Dough cash. On your turn, pick one:

  • $1Buy blind. Take a wrapped gift. No one can bid on it.
  • FreeOpen it. The room yells out bids. First to yell holds the bid.
  • $2Steal. The owner keeps your money and picks a silly dare for you.
  • $1Naughty or Nice. Draw a card that helps you, or hurts you.

Holding two gifts? You're a Greedy Gift Grubber. Keep one, and regift the other to anyone without a gift.

Traditional

The classic swap everyone knows. Steal limits, steal-backs, and the final swap are chosen on the party invite, so the arguing happens before the party, not during it.
